- The Hidden Jams will select up to 20 finalists from verified qualified entrants.
- Finalists will be asked to create a video about their favorite Marc E. Bassy deep cut or hidden jam.
- One winner plus one guest will receive access to a special Marc E. Bassy recording studio live experience in Los Angeles, currently planned for Thursday, July 16, 2026, subject to final schedule, verification, releases, and these terms.
How To Enter
- 1. Create or log into a free The Hidden Jams account.
- 2. Read and agree to these Contest Rules, Terms, and Conditions.
- 3. Rank at least 10 Marc E. Bassy songs during the contest period. If you already ranked at least 10 Marc E. Bassy songs before the contest period, rank at least 10 additional Marc E. Bassy songs during the contest period.
- 4. 20 finalists will be selected and notified by email and they must complete the finalist video requirement.
Finalist Video Requirement
Only selected finalists are required to create a video. If you are selected as a finalist, you must post a video on Instagram discussing your favorite Marc E. Bassy deep cut or hidden jam and why it deserves a studio moment. Your finalist video must tag @thehiddenjamsofficial, use #bassyhiddenjams and #Contest, and follow all platform rules and community guidelines.
Rules, Terms, and Conditions
1. Sponsor
This sweepstakes (the “Promotion”) is sponsored by The Hidden Jams (“Sponsor”), in collaboration with Marc E. Bassy (“Artist”).
This contest is administered by Sponsor and is subject to these terms and all applicable laws.
2. Contest Period
The initial entry period begins at 12:01 am Eastern Time on June 24, 2026 and ends at 11:59 pm Eastern Time on June 30, 2026. Sponsor will announce the finalist video and engagement period to selected finalists by email. Sponsor's systems are the official timekeeping devices for this contest.
3. Eligibility
The contest is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry and who are able to travel to Los Angeles, California for the studio experience on the date specified by Sponsor. Employees, contractors, officers, directors, and agents of Sponsor, Marc E. Bassy's team, prize providers, advertising or promotion partners, and members of their immediate families or households are not eligible. Void where prohibited.
4. No Purchase Necessary
No purchase, payment, donation, or paid subscription is necessary to enter or win. A purchase, payment, donation, or paid promotion will not increase your chances of becoming a finalist or winning.
5. Account and Ranking Requirement
To qualify, you must create or log into a free The Hidden Jams account and complete the required Marc E. Bassy ranking activity during the contest period. Sponsor may verify your account activity, ranking activity, and eligibility before selecting finalists or awarding a prize.
6. Finalist Selection
After the initial entry period, Sponsor will review verified qualified entrants and select up to 20 finalists. Sponsor may verify that entrants completed the account, opt-in, ranking, and social-share requirements before selecting finalists. Potential finalists may be required to respond within the time stated by Sponsor and provide social handle, eligibility, availability, and verification information.
7. Winner Selection
After the finalist video submission period closes, Sponsor will verify all eligible finalist submissions and randomly select one potential grand prize winner from among the finalists who completed all required finalist steps.
To be eligible for the random winner selection, a finalist must have: created and posted the required finalist video, tagged @thehiddenjamsofficial, used the required campaign hashtag(s), kept the post public or otherwise viewable by Sponsor through verification, complied with these Contest Rules, and satisfied all eligibility and release requirements.
The random selection will be conducted by Sponsor or Sponsor’s designee from the pool of verified eligible finalists. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible finalists who complete all finalist requirements. The selected potential winner is subject to verification and must respond within the timeframe stated by Sponsor. If the selected potential winner is ineligible, cannot attend, fails to respond, or does not complete required verification or release documents, Sponsor may randomly select an alternate winner from the remaining eligible finalists.
The winner must respond within 24 hours to claim the prize.
Failure to respond may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
8. Prize
One grand prize is available. The winner plus one guest will receive access to a special Marc E. Bassy recording studio live experience in Los Angeles, currently planned for Thursday, July 16, 2026. The prize includes one night of hotel accommodations near the studio, as determined by Sponsor.
Round-trip economy airfare may be provided only if the winner resides 100 miles or more from the studio, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. If the winner resides less than 100 miles from the studio, airfare will not be included and no cash, credit, or substitute travel value will be provided.
Approximate retail value: $1,500. Prize details are subject to final production schedule, artist/team approval, studio availability, travel availability, security requirements, and these terms.

10. Prize Conditions
Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash except at Sponsor's sole discretion. Winner and guest must travel on Sponsor-approved dates and itinerary. If winner or guest cannot attend, fails verification, or refuses required releases, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate. Winner and guest are responsible for identification, baggage fees, meals, incidentals, personal expenses, travel insurance, and all costs not expressly included. Winner is responsible for all applicable taxes and may receive an IRS Form 1099 for the actual value of the prize.
11. Guest Requirements
Winner's guest must be at least 18 years old unless Sponsor and counsel approve a minor-guest process with parent or legal guardian consent. Guest must sign required releases, comply with all travel and studio rules, and travel on the same itinerary as winner unless Sponsor approves otherwise.
12. Verification and Releases
Potential finalists, winner, and guest may be required to complete eligibility verification and sign affidavits, liability releases, publicity releases, appearance releases, tax forms, confidentiality terms, studio access documents, and any other documents reasonably required by Sponsor. Failure to complete required verification or releases may result in disqualification.
13. Content Standards
All ranking-share posts and finalist videos must be truthful, original to the entrant or lawfully usable by the entrant, suitable for a general audience, and compliant with platform rules. Content may not include unlawful, hateful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, sexually explicit, violent, misleading, infringing, or unauthorized third-party material.
14. Content License
By entering, you grant Sponsor, Marc E. Bassy's team, and their designees a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to repost, display, quote, summarize, edit for length, publish, distribute, and otherwise use your ranking-share post, finalist video, social handle, name, likeness, voice, statements, ranking activity, and related content for contest administration, promotion, recap content, editorial content, social content, and marketing related to The Hidden Jams, Marc E. Bassy, and this campaign, without additional compensation or approval, except where prohibited by law.
15. Publicity and Appearance Release
Except where prohibited by law, by accepting finalist status, prize participation, or the prize, you agree that Sponsor, Marc E. Bassy's team, and their designees may photograph, film, record, edit, publish, and use your name, likeness, voice, social handle, statements, travel/studio participation, and biographical information for promotional, editorial, social, and commercial purposes related to this contest, The Hidden Jams, Marc E. Bassy, and the studio experience.
16. Privacy
Sponsor will use information submitted or collected in connection with this contest to administer the contest, verify eligibility, select finalists, contact potential finalists and winners, coordinate travel/studio access, and conduct related marketing where legally permitted. 17. Conduct and Disqualification
Sponsor may disqualify any entrant or finalist who submits incomplete, false, misleading, fraudulent, automated, tampered, offensive, infringing, or noncompliant entries; attempts to manipulate rankings or social engagement; violates platform rules; harasses other fans; or otherwise undermines the integrity or spirit of the contest.
18. Platform Disclaimer and Release
This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Meta, TikTok, or any other social platform. By entering, you release Instagram, Meta, TikTok, and their affiliates from any responsibility or liability related to this contest. Any questions, comments, or complaints about the contest should be directed to Sponsor, not to Instagram, Meta, or TikTok.
19. Limitation of Liability
By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Marc E. Bassy, their respective teams, affiliates, agencies, prize providers, social platforms, and each of their officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives from claims, losses, injuries, damages, expenses, or liabilities arising from participation, social posting, finalist content, engagement measurement, travel, studio attendance, acceptance or use of prize, technical failures, or use of entry content, except where prohibited by law.
20. Changes or Cancellation
Sponsor may modify, suspend, or cancel the contest or prize if fraud, technical failures, production changes, travel disruptions, force majeure events, illness, safety issues, venue or studio requirements, artist schedule changes, or other circumstances beyond Sponsor's control impair the contest or prize experience. Sponsor may substitute a prize or experience of comparable value at its discretion, subject to applicable law.
21. Governing Law
This Promotion is governed by the laws of the United States and the applicable state laws of the Sponsor’s principal place of business.
22. Winner List
For the winner's name, send a request to social@thehiddenjams.org within 30 days after the contest ends.
